Art speaks the language of the soul, a language impossible to translate. Therefore art will always be abstract.
What I am seeking is not the real and not the unreal but rather the subconscious, the mystery of the soul.

It takes time to find the soul behind the skin. No matter what I paint, it always refer back to love and the mystery around it. My art undresses, even if the subject is traditional like portrait. It is my way to find significance in surfaces, and what is a more attractive and challenging surface than the skin around the soul? The body always expresses the spirit whose envelope it is. And for those who can see, the human body offers the richest meaning. Being nude is also the recall to earth.

Music as inspiration

The noble art of music is the greatest treasure in the world and music is collaboration between god and mankind.

Songs from Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel  or Lara Fabian, are the stored honey of the human soul, gathered on wings of mystery. They crushes the soul and reminds us we have one.

For me artists like Piaf, Brel and Fabian , are represent a the deep blue sea. The deeper you dive into the darkness, the more you discover  fragility, mystery, beauty…and light.

With fragility, they dip the) brush  in their own soul, and paint their own nature in to into music and songs.
I believe that this  is real art!
Captivating these emotions my canvas is a never ending story.
And that is what is my art is about.
